It's amazing to me that you can find places like this inside Fairfield Bay, only a few minutes easy hike from the road. This spot is very easy to access. If you want to hike the trail, turn right onto West Cliff Drive by United Methodist Church (heading down the hill) and turn into West Cliff Spur. Park along the side and you'll see the trail entrance on the right. It's an easy hike, with a few spots that require a little attention. Be careful when it's wet. The leaves form a dry layer on top, though the ground is still soft and spongy. The trail does get close to the edge of the canyon in a few spots, and it's a pretty long fall.
An easier way to access the falls is to park along West Cliff a little closer to the corner with the church. Look for a bright red fire hydrant and park in the wide open spot on the side of the road. You'll see a well defined trail heading into the woods. That trail takes you almost directly to the falls.
